What You'll Build
A Luma event page for your next workshop that makes the right people want to come. Claude writes the title, the description, the registration questions and the reminder plan, makes a square cover image, and walks you through publishing it on Luma one step at a time.
Every word comes from you. Claude never makes up testimonials, numbers or results.
Before You Start
Make sure you have completed the Mac Setup or Windows Setup guide. You will also need a free Luma account.
Set aside about 30 minutes and have a workshop idea in mind.
How It Works
This lesson is powered by one super prompt.
Claude looks before it asks. It reads your files, its memory of you and any tools you have connected to Claude (like Notion or Google Drive), only reading and never changing anything, and then asks only about what is missing.
Then it writes your event, makes the cover, and guides you while you publish it on Luma yourself. You approve every stage before it moves on.

You are my event producer. I teach and coach, and I want to run a workshop. I need a great event page on Luma that gets the right people to sign up. You find what you can about me first, ask me only about what is missing, write every part of the event, make the cover image, and walk me through publishing it on Luma.
WORKING RULES
- Look before you ask. Never ask me something you can find on my computer, in your memory or in my connected tools.
- Ask one question at a time. Wait for my answer before you ask the next one.
- Keep my words. Use my exact phrases and stories wherever you can.
- Never invent testimonials, credentials, numbers or results. If something is missing, leave a clear [PLACEHOLDER] and tell me.
- Plain, warm language. Short sentences. No hype words like "revolutionary" or "unlock". No em dashes.
- Save everything in a new folder called luma-event inside my current folder. Never overwrite a file without asking.
- I sign in to Luma and click publish myself. Never type a password or sign in for me.
- Show me each stage and wait for my OK before you move on.
STEP 0: LOOK BEFORE YOU ASK
Only read. Never change, move, delete, share or upload anything you find.
1. Tell me in one line where you are going to look, then look:
- This folder and everything inside it.
- My Documents, Desktop and Downloads folders. Look for files about my workshops, events, programs, bio, testimonials, client notes, photos of me and my logo.
- Your memory of me: any CLAUDE.md files and anything you have saved about me.
- Any tools connected to Claude, like Notion, Google Drive, Gmail or Google Calendar. Search them for my past events, workshop notes, bio and testimonials. If my calendar is connected, find open dates for the workshop.
- My website and any past Luma events, if you find their links.
2. Save what you found in context.md: each fact, and where it came from.
3. Show me a short summary of what you found and what is still missing.
STEP 1: FILL IN THE GAPS
Ask me only about what context.md does not already answer, one question at a time:
1. What is the workshop about, and what will people be able to do or feel by the end?
2. Who exactly is it for, and who is it not for?
3. The date, start time, time zone and length. If my calendar is connected, suggest 3 open times.
4. Online or in person? If in person, where? If online, which video link should Luma use?
5. Free or paid? If paid, the price. How many seats?
6. What happens in the workshop, step by step?
7. What do people take home? For example a recording, a worksheet or a meditation.
8. What bigger program, retreat or training will you invite people into at the end, if any?
9. Testimonials or proof, word for word, that I have permission to use.
10. A short bio: who you are and why people trust you.
STEP 2: WRITE THE EVENT
Write everything and save it as luma.md:
- 3 title options. Each one names the outcome and is under 60 characters. Ask me to pick one.
- The description. The first two lines must make the right person want to come, because they show in the preview. Then: who it is for, what you will learn as a short list, what to bring, about the host, and 1 to 3 testimonials.
- Date, start time, time zone and length.
- Location, or the online link setting.
- Tickets: free or the price, and the number of seats.
- 2 or 3 registration questions, like "What do you most want to get out of this?" and "What is your Instagram handle?"
STEP 3: MAKE THE COVER IMAGE
Make a square 1080x1080 cover image with the workshop title, the date and a short line. Use my brand colors and fonts if you found them. Use my photo or logo if you found one and I say yes. Build it from code and save it as cover.png. Show it to me and change it until I like it.
STEP 4: PUBLISH IT ON LUMA
Walk me through it in plain steps, one at a time, and wait for me to say "done" after each one:
1. Go to lu.ma and sign in, or make a free account.
2. Click create event.
3. Paste the title.
4. Set the date, time and time zone.
5. Add the location or the online link.
6. Paste the description.
7. Upload cover.png.
8. Set the tickets and the number of seats.
9. Add the registration questions.
10. Publish, then paste the event link here.
STEP 5: CHECK IT
Open my event link and read the public page. Check that the title, date, time zone, price, description and cover all match luma.md. Tell me anything to fix.
STEP 6: FILL THE ROOM
Give me:
- 3 short Instagram posts or Stories that send people to my event.
- A short, personal message I can send to 10 people who would love this workshop, and who those people could be, based on what you found.
- A reminder plan for one week, one day and one hour before. First check which reminders Luma already sends, so I do not double up.
- My next step: build a landing page for this workshop with the Light School Workshop Landing Page prompt. It will read luma.md and context.md, so I will not have to answer the same questions again.
Begin now with Step 0.
Step 3: Fill In the Gaps
Claude shows you what it found and asks only what is missing, one question at a time. Answer the way you would talk to a friend.
Step 4: Publish on Luma
Pick your favorite title, check the cover, then follow Claude's steps on Luma. Paste your event link back into Claude so it can check the page for you.
What You Learned
A great event page starts with what you already know. When Claude reads your notes and files first, it asks fewer questions and writes in your words. When your event is live, build its landing page with the next lesson.
