The Sara’s Bag team used a Light School session to explore how AI could fit into the business’s daily work. The clearest outcome in the record is a practical starting plan: choose one process, describe it precisely, and test it before extending it across the business.
What changed during the training
From a repeated question to a reusable task
A team member asked how to get the same email check without retyping the request each morning. The trainer demonstrated a scheduled workflow, then corrected an unwanted output destination. The exercise made the need for explicit instructions and testing visible.
Evidence: Part 1, 1:54:57–2:04:19. This was a trainer demonstration; it is not evidence that every participant had an automation running.
Define the owner, deadline and result
The second session worked through one process with a named owner for each task, a deadline, reminders and a description of what a good result looks like. The discussion turned an open-ended automation ambition into a specific first workflow to set up.
Evidence: Part 2, 00:00–05:55. The project-management setup remained a next action.
A test environment before live updates
The team discussed experimenting on a copy of existing spreadsheets before allowing AI to change operational data. An existing system upgrade also needed to happen before a proposed integration.
Evidence: Part 2, 41:56–43:48.
What came next
This was foundational training and workflow planning. It did not establish a completed ERP integration, automated customer support or a production task-management system. Follow-up implementation was still required.
